Cave of the Mounds 

Located just a short drive from Downtown Madison, in Blue Mounds, Cave of the Mounds is a National Natural Landmark. Enjoy a guided tour in these natural wonders.

University of Wisconsin Football Game 

Catch one of the best Big Ten football matchups in action. The University of Wisconsin Badgers will be taking on the Northwestern University Wildcats on Saturday, October 12.

International Crane Foundation 

After a short drive to the Baraboo Hills, you can can enjoy a guided tour of the world's cranes or take a hike on the nature trails at the International Crane Foundation.

Stroll State Street 

Enjoy an evening stroll down State Street in Madison. View the beautiful State Capital Building, as well as wander in and out of numerous galleries, shops, and restaurants.

Are you an angler at heart? Great! Madison is situated among five lakes, Lake Mendota, Lake Monona, Lake Waubesa, Lake Kegonsa and Lake Wingra. So bring your fishing line and sit awhile or rent a boat and set sail. Want to be near the lake, but not on it? Enjoy one of the many nearby parks or beaches.

Cheese, Wine, Beer, and Brats 

Wisconsin is full of Cheeseheads. Be sure to plan some time to check out some of the great artisan cheese shops, wineries, and local breweries.
