Pre-Conference Tour

Cornell’s NYS Ag Experiment Station develops cutting-edge technologies needed to feed the world and strengthen NY economies. From safe, nutritious foods to preserving the environment, NYSAES serves consumers, producers, food businesses and farm families.

Pre-Conference Tour
- an optional addition to your Annual Meeting registration (fee not yet determined)
- additional seats on the tour can be purchased for your traveling companion

Tuesday, October 11,  8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The tour will depart the Best Western at 8:00 a.m.  Breakfast is not included, as the Best Western hotel's deluxe complimentary continental breakfast service opens at 7 a.m. The bus will pick-up and drop off at the Ithaca Hotel if any participants are staying in town instead of the Best Western.

EDEN Pre-conference Tour

Our hosts have arranged a full day tour to Geneva, NY to visit Cornell's New York Sate Agricultural Experiment Station followed by lunch at the Ginny Lee Café and Wagner Vineyards. Wine tasting at Wagner and Standing Stone vineyards will follow lunch. A grape expert will join the tour to participate in discussions at the wineries related to how local vineyards have been affected by and are dealing with extreme weather events.

Registration and Cost           

Registration is $55; registration fees for the optional pre-conference tour will be in addition to the meeting registration fee. Pre-conference tour registration fees will include transportation, lunch, tastings, on-board snacks and all tour activities.
