Our over-arching goal for the satellite sites is to provide a meaningful way for food safety professionals to come together and learn without having to travel. Other goals are:
If a member of the Extension Center for Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (EFANS), hosts a satellite site (with a group of 3 or more) the registration fee will be covered by EFANS Please use the EFS Account # to pay for your registration fee. All sites MUST have a point person. The point person will be the point of contact for the conference leadership and will be in charge of organizing the site meeting, learning how to use Connect, facilitating conference activities, and reporting back to conference leadership. Adobe Connect Instructions: A URL will be e-mailed out to all point persons. The URL will be your ticket to enter the conference site. Each site will need to sign-in as a guest using the name of your specific site (i.e. Moorhead Regional Extension Office, Idaho State Extension). Once you sign-in and enter room you will see the conference space before you. Technical help will be available to you in the meeting room. The audio bridge is available to sites for listening to presenters if your room lacks speakers to hear the presentation. Please keep the audio bridge number on hand.
