June 7: A national webinar hosted by the eXtenison Financial Security for All: Community of Practice intended for Extension professionals from across the nation.
At no time in US history, has there been such a far reaching occurrence of significant natural disasters. These disasters wreak havoc on the financial well-being of those in their path. Family financial recovery is a long-term process and decisions made at the time of a natural disaster affect the financial well-being of survivors for a life time. There are also actions people can take in advance of a natural disaster which will lessen the financial impact.
Extension professionals from the University of Minnesota Extension and North Dakota State University Extension Service will showcase two NEW resources: the eXtension Money Management in Times of Disaster web resources and Recovery After Disaster: The Family Financial Toolkit.
Join us as we showcase eXtension web resources and financial recovery strategies and tools based on research conducted with survivors of a natural disaster. Extension professionals can use these tools with disaster survivors to assist them in putting the pieces of their financial recovery together.
Please join us on Tuesday, June 7th from 1 PM to 2:30 PM Central Daylight time at http://connect.extension.iastate.edu/fsa.
